ADES helm charts use Terradue Stars for stage-in and stage-out (e.g. https://github.com/EOEPCA/helm-charts/blob/main/charts/ades/values.yaml). To adapt the CWL for our environment, I'm looking for documentation about Stars, but there seems to be nothing available (see https://github.com/Terradue/Stars#documentation).

Is there some other source of documentation for Stars?

My main questions are:

  • do we need to implement a dedicated plugin to integrate our environment with Stars? I've seen in Stars sources, that there are plugins for different Copernicus services like Creodias, Mundi, Sobloo and others
  • how to provide credentials to Stars for accessing such services?
  • It seems, that there are environment variables like e.g. AWS__ServiceURL or AWS_ACCESS_KEY_ID. Are they documented somewhere?
