Data-access storage configuration - global.storage.data

Confusion exists as to the purpose of the data-access config...

  storage:
    data:

Does this need to point at somewhere that already contains data, or does it need to point to somewhere where data can be stored?

I understand that the global.storage.data points to an existing data source - from where data can be harvested. See https://deployment-guide.docs.eoepca.org/current/eoepca/data-access/#object-storage.

@constantinius Maybe you can explain further the interpretation of global.storage.data and how it relates to the actions of the harvester and registrar.
