Game Controller 'analog stick' support #165

I am wondering if there is already a way to do this, or if this is something that is possible in a future release. The way that MAME works with joysticks if you are using them as a light gun, is that when the joystick is not moving, it is dead center. Then say for instance I push it to the left, the cursor moves to the left as far as I push the analog stick. Then if I let go of the analog stick and it is back centered, the cursor moves back to the center of the screen I am trying to get an emulator cabinet setup with these games and I have a light gun but Windows sees it as a joystick. I have tried various settings with no luck, and it just seems like if I point my gun in a direction, it just shifts the mouse cursor in that direction, versus the cursor being where I am pointing at. Is there anyway to mimic this behavior right now? EDIT: And I know that the Sinden guns work so I am wondering how that is configured and working. I saw the |

Work on Game Controller analog sticks is in the dev tree, it should make it to the next release (2.11.6) You can see it in action via "Virtual Game Controller" WiiMotes interaction below, the auto-centering obviously doesn't show here, but on a real "analog stick", this will occur. |
