App freezes with screen off even with battery optimization off on OxygenOS 15

Hello, I have been using flutter_foreground_task with a lot of success on my app for a while now. Recently I updated my phone (OnePlus) to Android 15 (OxygenOS 15) and the app stopped to run with the screen off. Looking at the permissions I could find a permission in the battery permissions named Allow background activity. When I activate that permission, the app keeps running with the screen off. Any sugestions on how to handle that and why the other option is not working anymore. Any way to request this permission for the user from the APP?
