The command line should be able to display the pupernetes version.

Is there a file in Pupernetes that already displays the version, like a config file somewhere? If not, might be nice to use that for this purpose. If there's a better way let me know.

There isn't any.
Today, a way to achieve that is with the sha512sum, far from being ideal.

As a part of making this new flag, would it be worth adding a "VERSION" file at the root? Allows the version number to be used elsewhere, it would just have to be changed after each release, of course.
