Navigation controls borked on Cardputer install #18

Well hiya,

Stumbled onto this firmware the other day and was seriously impressed - I only got to see it a single time because of the aforementioned navigation issues (that I'll detail in a bit) but the frequency analyzer / band scanner / whatever I saw was infinitely more useable than the one included in the popular Bruce firmware. I'd like to help, and if you can fix the navigation issues I'll happily test the everloving shit out of the Cardputer variant and put together a full list of any issues that need to be worked on. I also have been working on an at-home PCB fabrication method that includes full solder mask, silk screen, gold ENIG coating, the works; and I've been honing my PCB design skills. If you can kind of guide me as to which pins are off-limits to use for certain add-on radios (planned is a multi-board that can carry 3 modules that can be swapped out easily: CC1101, GPS, NRF24, 5GHz board, NFC) I'd be happy to slap together a prototype and send a couple off to you and anyone else on your team as a thank you for your work.

Current identified issues with Cardputer Adv build (currently extremely limited by the only listed issue):

  • Navigation is broken, sometimes it looks like the up and down buttons are switched but sometimes it just seems random. Also, it's not clear which menu item is currently selected so making the one that is actually selected bigger or bolder or putting a little tick mark next to it or whatever would be huge.

Thanks, hope to have some fun helping out with this project.
