Field information saved after placing an order

Description

A user asked where is the product information stored after the order is placed. Is it saved in a certain table?

I have the PPOM plug in on my website, and it works great. However, once an order is placed, where does the product add on information go? Is it metadata? Is it its own field? I am asking because I work with an inventory management software (Cin7) and Quickbooks Online, and have the woocommerce order information sent automatically to those, but the additional field is lost in that process. I am trying to figure out how to retain the information when exported to Cin7 and QBO.
