1. Import a feed with images in 4.4.8
2. Update to 4.4.9 and wait to import new posts

I tested this, and it seems to be ok.

@AndreeaCristinaRadacina, @poonam279 can you ask the users for settings used on Featured Image along with the feed?

With this PR: #944 if you have some typo in your tag, you might not get the images.

Instead of tags, you can directly type [#item_image] to pull the image, like this:

This is an alternative method until we release the fix for the image tag if you want it fixed ASAP.
