Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Fortunately, I have the debug log to see what symptoms I logged and when I logged them. The normal user will not have the benefit of this log and can therefore submit extraneous reports if/when they forget logging symptoms. Additionally, the user would not have the benefit of seeing how his/her condition improved or worsened over the day (or days) without writing symptoms down in a separate place (and that's just an inconvenience).
Describe the solution you'd like
The CovidSafe application developed by University of Washington has a symptom logging workflow that is conducive for retaining symptom entry and allowing symptom update that may be a good example for ideas in CoEpi. https://covidsafe.cs.washington.edu/
