Black Dragon Scales prevent you from wearing any rigid clothes which prevents you from using most of the equipment in game, from the most basic stuff like boots, through the illogical like chainmail, to important like arm guards or other armor, including HUB-01 hazmat, all of which could be re-fitted to fit the mutated anatomy.

Solution you would like.

Either BDS losing the ability to prevent you from wearing rigid clothing or having the ability to modify clothes to fit your mutated anatomy.
