Hardware keyboard typing issue

I have Unihertz Titan 2 phone. In serach field ive faced with typing issue when i need to enter 2nd letter on key (in one key may be bind up to 3 letters to enter but mostly there is 2 keys). So catima dont accesв 2nd key if searxh string start from it. Its just delete letter insted of enter it.

I don't have any phone with a physical keyboard. I coupled my Bluetooth keyboard to Android and I could type just fine on Catima so I'm not sure how to reproduce your issue.

Do you have a step-by-step guide on exactly what you did (step 1: click search, step 2: type f, step 3: type o, step 4: type o)? Unless I can reproduce it with any of my devices I fear I can't fix this :(

Well you can not reproduce it with bluetooth. On titans phones in layouts diff than english more than one letters may be mapped on single button. Well just like german letters with umlauts or french with diacritics. So to type some letters i need to press twise on single button. So in that case if search string start from letter which is mapped as second on button is the case. Its correct for 3rd party keyboard such as PocketBoard. I suppose on default Kika keyboard all things ok.
