Scroll wheel causes large jumps in Cubase 15 Pro instead of smooth scrolling #834

**Describe the bug |
When Mos smooth scrolling is enabled, the mouse scroll wheel in Cubase 15 Pro does not scroll smoothly. Instead, it causes large, abrupt jumps in scrollable areas (e.g., timeline, mixer, project window, plugin lists). This makes precise scrolling very difficult during music production.

**To Reproduce |

  1. Install and launch Mos version 4.0.0-beta-1201.
  2. Enable smooth scrolling (default or custom settings).
  3. Open Cubase 15 Pro.
  4. Navigate to any scrollable area (e.g., project timeline or mixer channels).
  5. Use the mouse scroll wheel to scroll up or down.

**Expected behavior |
Smooth, fluid, and continuous scrolling, similar to the trackpad or as seen in other applications (e.g., Finder, browsers, Logic Pro).

Actual behavior
Large jumps/skips in scrolling position, making it feel oversensitive or "steppy".

**Screenshots |
(No screenshots available at the moment, but I can provide a screen recording if needed.)

**System Info |

  • Mouse: Logi M750L
  • OS: macOS 26.2 Tahoe
  • Version: Mos 4.0.0-beta-1201
  • Application: Cubase 15 Pro (Steinberg)

**Additional context |

  • The issue appears specific to Cubase 15 Pro (and possibly other recent Steinberg DAWs).
  • Scrolling works perfectly smooth in other applications.
  • Disabling Mos restores default (non-smooth) scrolling without the jumps.
  • This significantly affects workflow for music producers using Cubase on Mac.

Thank you for this excellent app – smooth scrolling is essential for Mac users, and I hope this can be fixed for DAW compatibility!
