Suggested deprecation of parser comparison methods

We have a lot of machinery in place to support a .compare method across all of our readers. Like, a lot. See

Thinking of places we could remove lots of code that maybe doesn't provide a lot of value to people.

Are any of the comparison methods used in frequent analysis tasks for your project?

not sure how best to solicit feedback on this. I'll ping some people I know are on GH and using this project / know other people who may need this. I'll put the word out on other platforms too
