I hope not being too out of place, but being Parquet an open source format very similar to CSV, usually better when using big files, I hope a full support would be considered.

At least a convert subcommand, similar to ImageMagick's magick mogrify -format jpg *.png to move CSV from/to parquet files.

I think qsv has support for parquet format, you can check that out. It's a fork of xsv as here the development stalled..
