Should RenderAgent.js be the same RenderAgent.cpp or is another approach being considered?
Incorrectly, FF & RW are typically implemented in a DVDControls JavaScript that is part of the implementing app, not a core part of Bridgeworks. The client app script has to do some math and set the frame rate, which is not intuitive. Play, Pause, Stop, FF & RW should all be simple interfaces to Bw.
It might also be feasible to implement FF & RW as a simple multiplier; ex., 2, 4, 8
