Extremely sluggish when showing a huge single line of text

When showing a single line of large text, the whole application will blocked. Any action on the editor become extremely sluggish, no matter auto wrap on or not. The CPU usage remains high, and there is a continuous memory leak.

However, the same size text doesn’t cause any issues if it contains line breaks.
