The AvailWorkbench.moduleTree collapses to reveal only the top level children of a ModuleRootNode when the workbench runs a refresh action. This can be demonstrated by adding a new root in a nested Root package, not at the top level. After file creation, the moduleTree will collapse, losing the expanded view where the file was created.
