While following the ArduPilot flight code wiki instructions to upgrade the autopilot firmware via the SD card I found that attempts to rename a file using MP's MAVFtp screen always failed with the below failure. The PC was connected to the autopilot via a USB port. The vehicle was running Copter-4.5.7

It seems that the file is actually renamed however so in some ways the error is scary looking but innocuous
