This is hinted at here https://archive.org/help/wayback_api.php which says additional snapshots may be added in the future.
Since using the website normally already returns all snapshots, this should not be difficult.

I don't know if this is documented anywhere but putting a timestamp into the url gives the closest date just like the API. Example https://web.archive.org/web/20191225/https://osu.ppy.sh/rankings/osu/performance redirects to https://web.archive.org/web/20191225211541/https://osu.ppy.sh/rankings/osu/performance
So for many purposes the closest snapshot API doesn't provide much.
