mapping 3d connexxion mouse

Hi, I found your project https://github.com/antiMicroX/ on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RClURtNbI88. I own a 3d mouse. I would to start using it with antiMicrox.

When I try to map axis the boxes light up blue permanently once I move the mouse. I am able to map however my 3d connexxion mouse acts as if it is continuously pushed in certain direction even if I stop pushing. I see it because everything keeps on moving on the designated axis (which is correctly mapped) but without stopping, when I push it in another direction it keeps on going continuously in the other direction (which is also correctly mapped). It should not move when I do not push or pull it, right?

So I found it is called a "drift issue". It is not encountered when I use the official drivers, I however need a portable version and 3d does not offer it.

How can I solve this issue.

To be Honest I am not sure a base library, called SDL (underlying library used as an interface with controllers). supports this kind of devices at all. SDL targets joysticks and gamepads.

You can try to directly check your controller using other apps using SLD like sdl-jstest, SDL2 Gamepad Tool to check whether it reports the same number of buttons/axes as AntiMicroX and how it works with them. If also that app has the same problems as AntiMicroX then you should just report problem with your device to the SDL's developers.

So in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RClURtNbI88. the instructor uses similar device as I have with antimicroX and it works. I can also find and maps axis. So SDL must support it.

The issue is that my device "drifts", I map a button (f.e. left to axis 1 ) and with pushing it keeps on going to the left instead of just sending one push of button left. It seems to interpret assigned button to axis as " press left continuously" insted of press left once. What could be the problem?
