I'm using a Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra with Android 14 and the AniTrend app doesn't work at all outside of going through the initial sign-in process.
Meanwhile, on my S24 with Android 14 as well the app runs mostly fine.
This has been an issue for a solid 6 months now at least.
Any idea what the issue is or if there's plans to fix it? It's getting kind of old watching anime on my tablet then having to switch to my phone to update my progress.

Hi @Squishy-Senpai would you mind taking a screen recording of what exactly happens? I wonder what the issue might be 🤔

It's timing out on open, then timing out when I try to do pretty much anything else. It claims I've sent too many requests.

@Squishy-Senpai could you tell me what version of the app you're on? In addition to updating it to the latest version.

It's version 1.11.3

Something strange I just noticed in the app.

Thanks @Squishy-Senpai I'll circle back to this over the weekend :) In the mean time if you can update to 1.11.4 that would be great!

If you can tell me where to find it. It's not listed on the releases page and tapping the button on the app doesn't work. It says it's not allowed.

You're right, I hadn't published the build yet. I will make a release for it separately

@Squishy-Senpai please try the latest version v1.11.5, this should result in a better experience.

It's still basically the same. One small difference I've noticed is that sometimes it doesn't do it at startup. It still does after one or two clicks elsewhere in the app though.

It's weird that it doesn't happen on my S24. But on that I have issues trying to see the status feeds. Both Status and Public Status work fine, but the progress feed says "No data to display" with a Try Again button.

Edit: Additionally, on the tablet the Progress feed loads fine when it doesn't give me the "Too many requests" error.

That's really sad to hear, unfortunately I don't have any tablets let alone one that matches yours so I can't even test or try to figure out what the problem is 🥲 odd that your progress feeds work for you, I could never figure out why it stopped working.
