Issue Details

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Enable AdGuard filtering
  2. Open almost any webpage, including popular ones such as reddit and github

Expected Behavior

the page opens, i can log into websites

Actual Behavior

"Secure Connection Failed" error on some websites, others i cant log in to.

Additional Information

i have imported the adguard certificate to firefox, booted in safemode, uninstalled/reinstalled and reset all settings to default (when i reset to default settings, i could log into websites again, but some random sites were still blocked or couldnt load) i have to disabled for 30 seconds to get into a given site, and once im in the site its okay, this workaround also works for signing into websites. Regardless, its annoying, and I think ive done something wrong with my settings to have this happen, except for the blocking of websites entirely. Nothing I can do about that. BTW i also had to disable once again to send this post, so maybe that gives helpful context. Browsing is usually fine.

@billyiscool Hi!

To troubleshoot this issue, we need to get the app logs.

Here's what we need you to do:
  1. Collect the debug log as it's explained here.
  2. Remember the exact time when the issue was reproduced. We will need it to find the corresponding records in the log file.
  3. Send the archive to [email protected] and mention this issue number in the subject.

@billyiscool have you tried to switch off/on the security.enterprise_roots.enabled option?

  1. Paste about:config into the Firefox address bar and press Enter
  2. Click on Accept the Risk and Continue
  3. In the search bar look for "security.enterprise_roots.enabled"
  4. Turn toggle off and on and make sure security.enterprise_roots.auto-enabled is also enabled

thank you for your response, but when i did so and refreshed my browser with HTTPS filtering enabled, it still blocked github. there are a number of other sites it blocks, im just using github as the example.
