Can't find mraa library even when installation is confirmed

The Makefiles provided for compiling examples don't work properly.
The generated command is not in the correct order.
Files should be compiled with -lmraa at the end:
<g++ -Wall -o ${TARGETS} ${TARGETS}.cpp -lmraa>
