Slow Mouse when Full Screen on Linux (admin edit: on Raspberry Pi) #32
Comments
I have no idea what this is, sounds like hardware mouse isn't used for bigger mouse cursor sizes. Works fine here. |
I haven't personally noticed any odd fullscreen slow down on Arch, what distro do you use @ayskura? |
I am using few Raspberry pi (2/400/02w) distro I am using Raspian Raspberry OS |
@ayskura i wonder if you tried with debian arm64, if it would make a difference... what version of ft2-clone are you using? |
I tried different versions and all of them have the slow mouse issues, I tried it on different Raspian version, I don't have Debian Arm64, but Raspian should be based on Debian? the way it is, It is really sluggish and makes it impossible to use |
The reason for the slow mouse in fullscreen mode is because you are using a Rasbperry Pi. This is even described in the "Known bugs" section in the FT2 help screen. |
that's a shame as it's such a nice combination (Raspberry pi with FT2Clone) :( |
I see the mouse slows down a lot when using Linux in Full screen... If I enable "Software Mouse" it gets a bit better but still it's slow, while if I exit full screen mouse is working normal as expected.
